Pros: Well made and deeply plated stand with better than average quality components such as the joints, fittings and fasteners. I expect this one to outlast any of the flimsy bargain examples. Cons: A bit heavier. Other: The stand comes "dry" and works much better after some lubrication of the joints and threads - this will greatly improve the service life too!
