Fine for what they are

Pros: They are suitable for a beginner - thin and fairly consistent quality - don't require much filing or rubbing.

Cons: Because they are thin they do tend to get a bit "soggy" with over-enthusiastic beginners! (I am a mum of a beginner not a player myself)
