The H-Ligature & Cap was conceived as a "retro" version of the famous Harrison ligature used by many of the worlds greatest clarinetists and saxophonists, Rico's H-ligature offers the sought-after features of this popular design.

The new H-ligature holds the reed firmly to the table of the mouthpiece assuring better contact and therefore reducing leaks along the siderails. Additional support has been added to the ligature brackets to increase durablity.

Pros: This is a great ligature, it gives a great resonance and sound quality, it's the best I've found.
Cons: The only thing that very slightly annoys is that I can't remove the mouthpiece without removing the ligature first, probably just me.
Other: I tried this ligature after being recommended it by Victoria Soames Samek, who endorses it for Rico.
