First created in 1983 specifically for jazz and popular music, Vandoren Java reeds have a thicker tip and more flexible pallet than the Vandoren Traditional. This allows for maximum elasticity with vibrations resonating across the largest possible surface area. The construction of Java reeds gives great flexibility of playing to the musician.

Pros: I am not very good at describing how good reeds are, i will attempt to put something down. I found that the reeds work quite well, never had any problems with them. Cons: None that i know of.
