V12 reeds are made from cane reeds with the same diameter of saxophone reeds; this leaves them with a thicker heel and a longer pallette than Traditional clarinet reeds.

This design means that more of the reed is vibrating, resulting in a deeper and richer sound. The thicker tip adds body to the sound and increases the longevity of the reed.

Catrin 18/01/2011 20:01 Cardiff, United Kingdom Beginner	Comfortable reeds producing a good sound. Pros: These Vandoren reeds feel comfortable, not at all "woody" . They also produce a very good sound, even for a beginner (G4). Box of 10 excellent value for money. Cons: I don't have anything negative to say. Other: Very prompt service.
